A good weekend

This weekend we had the joy of having a college friend of mine, Jay Lynn, spend the weekend with us. She lives in Seattle and she came all the way out to MI to see us! We had a wonderful time chatting and it was truly good for my soul. A mutual friend of ours, Dawn, who lives about an hour north of us, picked her up at the airport and we had a little mini Taylor reunion in my living room. It was really fun!

On Sunday we dedicated our sweet Levi to the LORD. My sisters, Grace and Maria, have also both had babies in the last year and so we dedicated our children together. It was a really special time. Our prayer for Levi is that "He would grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52) just as Jesus did.

That is so cool.. I almost wrote that scripture on a little card I sent you in the package for Levi. I found another that liked as well so I wrote that instead, but the truth is that scripture is what comes to mind whenever I pray for Levi.

Miss you guys.
